To celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, we put together a playlist of these films from emerging directors who are sure to change the face of Hollywood for the better.

It features shorts like the Student Academy Award-winning Above the Sea by Keola Racela:

 

 

Pagpag (The Refuse) was directed by John Paul Su, who was named the Director Guild of America’s Best Asian-American Filmmaker for his work on the short:
